Usually under a small white canopy, you may find Kate Ross & her son Misha of Hosswood Farm Organics, the only vegetarian owned & managed organic farm that sells produce (herbs, vegetables, berries, & flowers) in Toronto's farmers markets. They neither kill animals nor sell animal products. They also have a small animal sanctuary with 4 rescued farm animals: cow, pig & battery hens. Hosswood Farm is a small, OCPP certified organic farm in the Caledon Hills owned & operated by Kate Ross. All herbs, vegetables, berries, & flowers are grown naturally in healthy soils without any chemicals.
